Lovely little music app

My esteemed friend, music muse and part-time lawn bowls partner, Dylan Jones, forwarded me details of something called Iconcertcal earlier this week. The app looks at what’s in my itunes library and then creates a calendar of gigs over the forthcoming months in the near vicinity. Changing location, and how far afield I want to search is really simple. Marvellous. Knocks Bebop for 6, I’m afraid.
Only downside is that its gig list for the UK is still quite small (although I’m sure this will change very quickly). So who’s up for Dolly Parton on the 25th, Fall Out Boy on 1st or Patrick Wolf on the 8th…? But, damnit, we’ve just missed Journey who are rocking small tea shops all over the UK this week.

Also groovy is last.fm’s Events feature, which does pretty much the same function with your last.fm profile, should you be maintaining such a thing.
Has a lot of UK stuff too, and has that brilliant last.fm sideways-nessabout it, recommending stuff you might not actually have in your profile, but occupying a similar sphere.
