Bob Geldof and chums at Ten Alps, in conjunction with Norweigan media and human rights organisation Point of Peace, have just launched a new online TV platform, Peace Channel.

I say “just”, it was launched 22 minutes ago.

I look forward to seeing where this goes. There is clearly an increasing prominence of niche channels such as this but they often need something extra to push them into the international spotlight. Geldof et al have a tendency to get noticed, the hair-do notwithstanding, so this should be one to watch…
