Continuing our series of unfortunate historial references for the digital age, here’s Time Warner Chief Executive Richard Parsons, earlier this week:
The Googles of the world, they are the Custer of the modern world. We are the Sioux nation… They will lose this war if they go to war… The notion that the new kids on the block have taken over is a false notion.”
And, as we all know, everything worked out just fine for the Sioux and all the other American Indian tribes.

Does this mean that in the future we can expect Time Warner to turn their reservation - I mean offices - into a series of tacky casinos?

“Tacky” is not even in it at Ho-Chunk Luxury Hotel and Casino in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
