My Apology to Maggie

So, last week, Maggie posted about Hulu, the ad-supported streaming TV/Movie website engendered by NBCUniversal and Newscorp, going live from Beta testing.
And I was like ‘meh, whatevs’. Indeed, I believe my exact words were:
Being sans-TV myself at the moment, I’m watching most of my fave shows online at the networks’ own sites; how does Hulu improve on these? I mean, I can watch all of season 2 of ‘30 Rock’ on NBC.com - what does Hulu bring me that NBC doesn’t?”
Well, I’ll tell you: the first three seasons of ‘NewsRadio’, that’s what. Which makes me inordinately happy.
And there are dozens and dozens of other great old shows on Hulu, all streaming for free, with an average of about 90 seconds of add time per 22minute show. It’s bloody brilliant, I love it and thus, I apologise to Maggie profusely for my skepticism. Next time she reccomends anything, I’ll take it up instantly.
If the other networks, ABC and CBS get on board with Hulu, or do something similar (oooh, they could base it in Connecticut and call it CTHulu!) then a) my TV bliss will know no bounds and b) TV really could have found a good way out of the revenue slump wrought by teh interwebs.
All hail mighty Hulu.
(and I apologise to everyone else for using the phrase ’sans-TV’. I mean, what kind of asshat does that? Who’s editing this thing?)

I must have missed this while on my European escapade. No apology needed of course…but I’ll be sure to exploit this “next time she reccomends anything, I’ll take it up instantly” now that I have it in writing!

It’s not in writing, it’s in blogging, which is entirely different, legally.
I hope.
