Noah’s Passenger List Goes Online

Last week, the first 30,000 pages of the Encyclopedia of Life were launched. The mission is to host a web page for every one of the world’s known species, as the primary portal for access to all the world’s wildlife knowledge. Ambitious? Yep, and it’s nice to see another project which couldn’t have been considered before the internet.
