The Daily Beast is unleashed in the UK

As of today we will be helping to promote Tina Brown’s latest venture, The Daily Beast. We’ll be letting various bloggers and media outlets know when there is a story of interest on The Daily Beast. So watch for a wave of tweets, posts and status updates on stories ranging from the speficially London relevant like the upcoming Lawrence Schiller exhibition at Asprey to the more generally interesting and amusing like the Beast’s exclusive coverage of the Penn / Rourke trash talking scandal.

Rourke for an Oscar!
I told my girlfriend last night I would ring her back later because I was watching ‘The Wrestler’, and her response was “are you kidding? that film looks lame. Its about a wrestler.”
But don’t be fooled by the title, its a pretty great, but depressing film. I’m not afraid to admit I shed a few tears.
