I do love a good old-timey future history… but, pray tell, who will build houses and grow food whilst all this is going on?

Houses? Food? But we’ll all be on Second Life where we won’t need any.

Wow. I’ve got to the stage where I can no longer distinguish a parody from fanboy nonsense. Fabulous.
I met someone this week who - for shits & giggles - goes onto political websites and pretends to be a rabid republican. While I cannot - of course - approve of this trollish behaviour, I sort of understand how it could be fun.
What I’m wondering is - is this film the same sort of thing? Is this, in fact, a parody of all the neobubblarian (neobubb) rhetoric we’re surrounded by?
“It’s all changing! UGC rulz! Old media bad! Prosumer good! Blogs are more influential than God! Social Networking is changing the face of Social Networking!”
Huzzah! All I can say is — if they’ll let you sell them this tripe, then it would be rude to refuse. The customer, as they say, is always right.
