The Internet: A place for women

Results published by Ofcom yesterday suggest that women use the web more than men. Gasp. Women aged 25-49 spend more time online than men - especially the 25-34’s who account for 55% of net usage compared to men of the same age.
The reason for this, quite emphatically, is MyBeboBook. Women just can’t get enough of social networking and this is why over the last few years women have become bigger and bigger web consumers. Forrester Reasearch concur with Ofcom’s findings stating that the internet is “just another channel for women to do what they enjoy: shopping, talking, and caring”.
In light of this perhaps RMM should start searching for a female employee…
