Twitter on TV

News just in from Twitter; they are partnering with MTV for the Video Music Awards next month. Already MTV character Moonman is tweeting and you can follow his insights and philosophical musings on his twitter: http://twitter.com/vma.
What does this mean? Twitter have too much VC and this is a harbinger of Bubble2.0? Or MTV don’t have enough cool Youth2.0 applications so they are partnering?
