Capturing the blogosphere’s imagination

You can never second guess what posts will generate higher volumes of comments when it comes to blogging. Well reserached insightful posts will often get no comments, whilst irreverent, sarcastic and sometimes silly posts can command a proportionally longer list of comments.

I can think of no real lesson to learn from this other than that the blogosphere is a fickle beast.

P.S. Bragster is back, I apologise for mistakenly announcing its demise prematurely.

I think you may have hit upon the next big ‘thing’; or the next big blog at the very least.

There are a lot of successful blogs out there at the moment, making it harder for all the other people to get their own blogs noticed. So how about creating a blog which is very poorly researched, narrow-minded posts, which are completely ridiculous and overly sarcastic.

Thus generating lots of comments and lots of interest – and a successful blog! Or maybe not.
