As we all know (or at the very least should know) a blog post should be short, sweet and to the point. Indeed succinctness is next to godliness in the blogosphere. The term ‘Blessay’ then refers to those posts written by digial filibusters intent on droning on and on and on and on and on and on an…you get the picture.
Remember kids: write blogs, not blessays.

Ooh, this word has some mileage, I’m sure. It has the added advantage of being homophonic with the French verb “blessez”, “to hurt”, which is what it does, people, it hurts the discerning reader. ArrĂȘtez maintenant!
Furthermore, it also contains within it the condescending ‘bless’, which, accompanied by the requisite ‘aw’ is precisely the reaction provoked by people who mistake length of post for usefulness of post.
