Ok, seriously? SERIOUSLY?? Why on earth has the top question search on Ask this year been “How do I get pregnant”?! Don’t believe me? See for yourself.

A lot of people have difficulty getting pregnant. The query doesn’t mean they don’t understand the basic workings.
I note that the no.2 most searched question is “How do I lose weight?” – the answer surely being “Stop getting pregnant”.
That “How do I get pregnant” is no.1 may tell us more about the demographics of Ask users than anything else.
David – I appreciate what you say; granted there a lot of people for whom getting pregnant is not easy. What tickeled me about the story was that the question was framed so bluntly. Surely couples needing to explore other methods of fertilisation would not ask such a blunt and inelegant question ? -perhaps they might rather ask more directed questions about IVF for example. Anyhoo as Dan points out its probably just inidcative of the average Ask user perhaps not being all that elegant…
