Its not great when only the second installment of the R*M Roundup is 3 days late. However, in my defence, there was a fire alarm in the office on Friday which ate away at the time I had to update you all on the goings on here at Ryan*MacMillan. So, belatedly but without further a do, here’s what’s been going on at your favourite social media agency in the last week (or so)…
Leo and Iain recieved cooking pots within which there were stuffed bunnies (don’t ask…)
Matt got a brand new shiny MacBook Pro
Matt Cottingham joined us as an intern for the next 4 weeks (Matt C, welcome!)
Additionally we enjoyed the pleasure of Dave and Simon’s company through the week as they helped us with various projects

God the pressure really is on to do something note worthy with the 2 remaining hours of this week. Me, I’m waiting to do a conference call on a research project for the IAB’s social media council. Is it note worthy? What has been interesting is the process by which we have arrived at the call – we’ve been talking to all sorts of providers about doing some research to demonstrate the value of social media – and I have to say its been a much trickier process than anticipated due to legacy ideas of how media shoudl eb measured. There’s a post looming soon on both the process and what we eventually agree to do. I know; I cant’ wait either. Must dash, dial in time has arrived.
